The Lomnica hotel was opened in 1894 and has always been an important cultural and social centre. The main project architect was an eminent figure – Gedeon Majunke from Spišská Sobota. Once finished, the hotel was one of the biggest half-timbered buildings in Austria-Hungary as well as the most luxurious and most sought-after hotel. Its present design respects the tradition and is the result of a complex renovation of 2015 – 2016, which brought back the noble character that the hotel deserves to be proud of.To guarantee absolute satisfaction and comfort of our guests, the Lomnica hotel has prepared a wide choice of services. Historic room

Historic standard rooms are situated in the historic part of the hotel. They are furnished accordingly to the age mirroring the history of the time when the hotel was first built, so they will appeal mainly to the guests who appreciate high-quality accommodation with a historical touch. Very typical for such interior designs are contradictions and contrasts, changing of ornaments and angles, empty and full walls, or unconventional colour combinations. Some of the rooms have a view of Lomnický Peak. All rooms have wooden floors, and some of the bathrooms are equipped with baths. The rooms situated in the attic have a nice mountainous feel.
